His­toric Uptown The­ater in down­town Grand Prairie.
He was instru­men­tal in estab­lish­ing the Farm­ers Market.Rebuilding over 25 miles of res­i­den­tial streets, curbs and gut­ters in Dis­trict 5. Build­ing over 20 miles of new Dis­trict 5 res­i­den­tial side­walks. Obtained fund­ing to replace numer­ous old water,waste water and sewer lines.

 

 

Low­ered the prop­erty tax rate, froze senior’s taxes, and started the city home­stead exemption.

Bowles Life Center LogoSpear­headed the Bowles Life Cen­ter in NE Grand Prairie, com­bin­ing state of the art recre­ation cen­ter with branch library and
police store­front.

 

Worked with state leg­is­la­tors to get ser­vice roads built to I-30 between Belt Line and MacArthur, open­ing up many acres for the retail devel­op­ment so badly needed in NE Grand Prairie.

Grand Prairie at SunriseWorked with the new Police Chief, Steve Dye, to insti­tute TRUE neigh­bor­hood polic­ing, so you get to know your neigh­bor­hood beat offi­cer per­son­ally. Also, to estab­lish pro­grams reach­ing out to the His­panic com­mu­nity in Dis­trict 5.
